As one of the premiere apps for anyone looking to get a little more intimate with their Android phone, EStrongs (ES) File Explorer is a very impressive file management tool. It brings not only a much needed Android file explorer, but FTP and LAN server management, task killer, and application manager. As a direct competitor to Astro File Manager, it’s got good competition, but ES File Explorer definitely gets the job done.
Pros:
Simple but thorough interface.
All file exploring options you could ever need, with more treats to be found
Ability to install apps, move and delete files, create folders, etc.
Cons:
Number of options and location of tools takes some getting used to at the beginning.

Actually… since you are SU … you can use ES file ex… hit the sdcard icon at the top and you are now on internal memory. hit menu and settings… check root file explorer. Allow it SU… then click mount /system as R/W… now you have read write… make changes and reboot. ES is also an FTP client.

Can you actually mount /system and other R/O folders as R/W in ES? I tried Astro but it doesn't give that option. Root Explorer is the only app I've tried so far that does. You would think this would be an included feature.
