I’ve received a lot of inquiries about how I’ve gotten my phone to look like it does, or more specifically, how to make Android look like an iPhone. Through the use of ADW Launcher and an app called BetterCut, I’ve been able to replicate the icons and dock. With this tutorial, you too can learn how to get that iPhone dock and those iPhone icons in Android to have the feel of iOS. Be sure to throw some widgets in there, though. We don’t want you feeling the pull to convert

That doesn’t look the slightest like iOS.

yo how u get that cool looking background
No_Nickname90
Same as guy above me. That background is a regular standard live wallpaper background for every android phone running 2.1 or higher. It first came on the Nexus One, and it’s been a live wallpaper for everyone android phone after that running 2.1 or higher. Unless you hacked and forced your phone to go to 2.1, if your phone has android 2.1, then you have it in your live wallpapers. But if you want to download it or something, it’s called the Nexus.

How did you get that cool backround

You don’t mean the background with the floating blocks right? I don’t mean to be…mean, but that’s a standard live wallpaper on like every android phone on 2.1 or higher. It’s the Nexus Standard Live Wallpaper. If your phone is running 2.1 or higher, it’s there. It first came on the Nexus One.

I made it myself.
Rbagsof2005
you should definitely upload it
Claire
I agree with Rbagsof2005. you should seriously upload your skin.
Claire
Yep, i definatley agree. You need to update some skins. That one on the video is awsome.
yo~ so yeah i got a Beautiful Widget on my x10i but im not sure how to use it. its not like normal widgets xD.
Mark
What app is that for the date, time and weather on top?
http://bk-lounge.com djR3Z
It sure is! If you set your default Home (you checked the box that said “make default” when you went to your ADW home), you can still go back. Go to Settings>>Applications>>Manage Applications>>ADW Launcher and click “clear defaults”. Then hit your home button and you can go back to your regular launcher!

So if you set this up and then want a change back to the Droid original screen setup – is it possible to do it without uninstlling the ADW Launcher App? If so how do you switch?
