I’m not going to lie, I used to think the iPhone was pretty *** cool. And who can blame me? Before 2010, the Android Market was pretty much a joke. There weren’t very many apps at all and the games selection was laughable.
In 2010, that all changed. Developers that had once been strictly on the iPhone were bringing powerful apps to the Android platform. And not just useful apps, but enjoyable games. The games for Android are pretty much on par with those on the iPhone now and the selection is growing daily.
Blue Defense was once an iPhone only game. I found it in its youth when I owned my iPod Touch a few years back and I’m surprised more people don’t know about this game. I have literally spent days playing this game and can proudly say that it is by far my favorite. Yes, even above Angry Birds.
In Blue Defense: Second Wave, formerly called Defend at one point on iOS, you must protect your planet from invaders, surviving multiple waves of varying enemies. What’s special is that it uses the accelerometer to control the game. Trust me, you’ll look like an idiot spinning your phone around like its a Bop It but you’re gonna have loads of fun doing it so who really cares. Check out our video for the full scoop.
