I have a confession. I’m addicted to Flight Control on iOS. Last year, I bought it for my friend just so I could play it on his iPhone. Please don’t hurt me. Obviously, my first instinct was to find it on Android, but unfortunately, it didn’t exist yet. I found some alternatives, but none of them has the refinement that Flight Control came with.

While Flight Control has now been brought to Android (at 3x the price and with wonky coloring), my search yielded another gem, Airport Mania. While not exactly a flight control game, it does play off the same elements. If Flight Control and Diner Dash had a baby, this would be it.

Rather than controlling planes in flight, you control planes at the airport, sending them from the air, to the runway, to the gate, to repairs, and back out to flight. Its pretty addicting and adds to the element of just a simple flight control game. Check out our video below for the full details.

Pros:

• Extremely easy to pick up, especially after doing the tutorial.
• Cartoonish style makes things fun, if that’s your thing.
• Successful concept brought to a new environment.
• Free version is good for hours of fun

Cons:

• Flight games are a dime a dozen.
