As a past Palm Pre user, I can say that one of the neat features was the gesture wave used to launch recent apps. Wave Launcher brings the same functionality to Android. Just swipe up from the bottom of your screen no matter which app you’re in and Wave Launcher brings up a “wave” of a configurable quick-launch selection of apps.

Plug In Launcher runs in the background and allows you to easily control what app launches when you plug in your USB cable or headphones. Use it in a variety of cases, such as opening your alarm when plugged in or starting your favorite music player when you put in your headphones.

The emulator selection on Android expands once again. Amazingly, we can now play Nintendo 64 games on our Android phones. While not perfect, it should be improved over time. Configure controls, save game states at any point, and tune a variety of settings to your needs. StarFox 64, anyone?

While the official Facebook app for Android has improved a lot, it still leaves some of us wanting more. Flow improves the Facebook experience with some great features. View friends, profiles, and photos, view likes on your pages, add and remove friends, RSVP to events, get push notifications, tag photos, and much, much more.
