When it comes to aesthetics, few apps truly impress me right off the bat. When it comes to games, it’s even less. This is getting better has the Android platform attracts more developers, but there’s a few that have gotten it right already.

Fruit Ninja has been one of my favorite apps for quite some time now. Its clean and the design is amazing. And what the heck. Toss in addicting in there too. Like Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja capitalizes on the fact that simply swiping on the screen is just a whole lot of fun. With its endless gameplay and crazy sounds, Fruit Ninja is sure to be a hit for a long time. Check out the full scoop in our video below.

Pros:

• Part of Open Feint so you can reach achievements and compare your scores to others
• Pretty much infinite gameplay with a few different styles
• Easy to pick up and play for seconds at a time

Cons:

• It has its fair share of free copy cats
