Verizon has big things going on right now with the arrival of the Motorola Droid Bionic coming to tomorrow and with positioning themselves in the various Radio Shack locations around the U.S. in hopes of a successful launch of “Big Red” products come September 15th and thanks to a helpful tipster we now know what devices that Radio Shack will have available at launch and we must say, this is pretty exciting.

Devices are shipping to stores this week and next week to give themselves plenty of inventory for a successful launch. What devices are going to be available you ask? Check them out below.

Six 4G LTE Smartphones:

  • Motorola Droid Bionic
  • Samsung Droid Charge

  • Samsung Stratosphere

Six 3G Smartphones:

  • HTC Incredible 2
  • Motorola Droid X2
  • Motorola Droid 3
  • Sony Ericson Xperia Play
  • LG Enlighten
  • Blackberry Curve 3
    • (TBD) Samsung Illusion

Three Basic Phones:

  • LG Cosmos
  • Pantech Hotshot
  • LG Octane

One 4G MiFi Mobile Broadband:

  • Samsung SCH-LC 11
  • Novatel 4510L (Nov)

Apple:

  • iPhone 16GB
  • iPhone 32GB

Four Prepaid Devices at Launch:

  • LG VN 150 Revere
  • ZTE Salute
  • Pantech Caper
  • Samsung Intensity 2
    • 2 additional devices arriving in Q4

Tablets:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
  • Apple iPad 2

The tipster notes that the above device list is subject to change as expected, but a few notable devices on the list are the Samsung Stratosphere that looks like Sprint’s Epic 4G with a little LTE love and the Samsung Illusion which the tipster notes as a non-LTE device that looks similar to the Samsung Nexus S. We do not think that the Illusion is the Nexus PRIME, but we’re eager to see more of it nonetheless.

With the number one carrier in customer satisfaction and the number one wireless retailer in customer satisfaction, we’re excited to see a company like Radio Shack position themselves as a leading retailer in wireless. If you want to be treated like family and get the most out of your buying experience, be sure and hit up your local Radio Shack as it’s where I get all my handsets.
