My name is Brent Klauck and I’m the founder of this here Android site, though many of you know me as djR3Z. In 2009, I purchased my first Android phone, the HTC Hero for Sprint. Like I am with anything I buy, I couldn’t leave it alone. I just wasn’t satisfied with using the bare minimum that the phone provided. I immediately set out to find the best of the best, from apps and utilities, to tweaks and themes.
Needing more to get my fill, I read up on what some of you may now as “rooting”, or gaining root access to the phone (don’t worry, I’ll show you how). Only then was I able to take my phone to the limits I pictured. From there it was history.
As my knowledge grew, so did my desire to share what I had learned. I couldn’t keep it all to myself; I needed an outlet. Enter, The Droid Demos.
In 2010, I upgraded my Hero. Now armed with powerhouse that is the HTC EVO, a 1 Ghz, 4.3inch beast that has been rumored to eat small children (only after dazzling them with its mystique), I will be leading you on your way to getting the most out of your Android phone. Whether you’re a stay at home mom that wants a little help around the house with some simple tools, or a tech mastermind looking to eek out that last little bit of functionality out of your phone, The Droid Demos is here to help.
